Ghazi Zaiter

Member of parliament representing the Baalbeck/Hermil district. He served as Minister of Defense, Agriculture, Public Works, Industry and Social Affairs. He is part of the Amal Movement led by speaker of the parliament Nabih Berri.
Zaiter Born in 1949 has been under scrutiny since, as Minister of Public Works and Transportation at the time, he had been responsible for dealing with the ship carrying 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate that docked on Beirut’s Port in 2013.
